Thank you for your kind words, they made my day!
I know exactly what you mean in your post about feeling like shit when you see other peoples works on the internet. Still happens to me everyday, especially now that im following a ton of serious artists here on tumblr. When i started my blog i followed only doodle blogs, and since they make simple doodles, i didnt feel bad about myself because i can make what they can and therefore felt that i was up to par with them. But when i started following serious artists, i lost all confidence in myself and what little talent i have. I actually cried many times because i thought i was pathetic. Especially when i became friends with amazing artists on tumblr like fatma and anne. I was so insecure that i felt that all their likes and nice words were given out of charity. I thought, how can you like my work when your work is beyond amazing?! It took me a while to get over my insecurities (not entirely, though) and realize that these people are sincere in their support and encouragement because theyve been there themselves. You have no idea how happy i am that i made my tumblr, because all these amazing people and their amazing art on my dash motivates me to keep drawing in the hopes that someday ill be as good as them. They still make me feel like shit, especially on days when everything i draw just turns out badly, but at the same time they inspire me. I really suggest that you read this post of Anne: http://anneart.tumblr.com/post/1204461536/persistence
I can say that this post helped me the most in feeling better about myself, and it motivated me to keep drawing, even though my art still sucks. haha!
Oh and im a writer too, so i can relate to you even more. Rather, I WAS a writer. I was really passionate about writing in highschool; i wrote for the school publication and joined inter-school contests and all the works, but when i went to college it kind of took the backseat. Priorities and preferences change when you get older, i learned. =P
(lol sorry for the rant!) ❞

THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH KIM ^^
& yes, i agree with you, sometimes when you see another’s work on your dash, you feel like crap, but sometimes it really inspires you in so many ways.
Thank you again…
